Editorial Policy

MahGPT publishes independent reporting, guides, comparisons, reviews and practical explainers about AI and software products. This page explains how we research products, make recommendations, disclose commercial relationships and correct the record.

ResearchReviewsIndependenceDisclosureCorrectionsAccountability

Evidence before opinion

We prefer official documentation, pricing, product information and terms when establishing what a product does and costs.

Useful context

Recommendations are framed around practical use cases, audience, value and limitations—not a single universal “best” answer.

Clear disclosure

Affiliate relationships are disclosed, and commercial relationships do not guarantee inclusion, ranking or favorable conclusions.

Editorial independence

MahGPT’s editorial conclusions are not bought. Commercial relationships do not determine what we cover, how we describe a product or where it appears in a comparison. Affiliate partners do not receive guaranteed positive reviews, and commission does not determine rankings. We may publish meaningful limitations or criticism about an affiliate partner when the evidence and reader value call for it.

How MahGPT researches products

Research can vary by product and by the question a page is answering. It may include official product documentation, current pricing and plan information, feature descriptions, stated limitations, publicly available product information and practical use-case comparison. When useful, we consult reputable third-party sources for context, reporting or independent perspectives.

Verified information

Statements about features, plans, prices, terms and availability are checked against relevant sources, with primary sources preferred.

Editorial analysis

Our comparisons, recommendations and explanations are editorial judgments based on the available evidence and the needs of the stated audience.

A product page may be based on documented research and comparison rather than a complete hands-on test. We do not present unperformed testing as personal experience.

How reviews and recommendations work

We assess products against criteria that fit the category and the reader’s likely goal. Depending on the page, these can include:

Not every page uses the same weighting, and a recommendation is not a promise that a product is right for everyone. Where hands-on access is not available, we describe the basis of the evaluation and avoid implying that we personally tested every product.

Affiliate disclosure

MahGPT may earn a commission when readers purchase or sign up through certain marked links. This normally does not increase the reader’s price. Affiliate relationships help support the publication, but they do not guarantee favorable coverage, a higher ranking or inclusion in a list.

For the dedicated disclosure and additional detail, see our Affiliate Disclosure.

AI-assisted publishing

AI tools may assist with organizing research, drafting, summarizing source material or formatting content. They do not replace editorial judgment. Before publication, MahGPT requires human review of the draft, source checking and a decision about whether the wording fairly represents the available evidence. We do not treat generated text as a source by itself.

Sources and fact checking

For pricing, specifications, product features, terms and policies, we prefer primary or official sources. Reputable third-party reporting can add context, especially when a product claim or development needs independent perspective. Because software products, prices, plans and policies change, information on a page may become time-sensitive and pages can be updated when material changes are identified.

Corrections and updates

Factual errors can be corrected when identified. Significant changes to a product, price, plan, availability or policy may trigger an update or review of the relevant page. Readers and companies can report a suspected error, outdated detail or unclear statement at [email protected]. Please include the page URL and the source or explanation that supports the correction.

Our standard

When a correction materially changes a reader’s understanding, we aim to fix the page clearly rather than silently leave a known error in place.

Conflicts of interest

Commercial relationships are kept separate from editorial judgment. We disclose relevant affiliate relationships, do not accept a promise of favorable treatment as a condition of coverage, and retain the ability to describe limitations or alternatives. If a relationship could reasonably affect how a page is understood, transparency takes priority.

Who is responsible

Final editorial responsibility remains with MahGPT, including when AI tools assist with production. A human editorial decision is required for the page’s scope, claims, sources, framing and publication. Learn more about the publication and its purpose on the About MahGPT page.
